I love the 98-01 2.5RS hood. Has anyone heard of anyone using it on the new imprezas? Is there a manufacturer that makes hoods like that for the new imprezas? Also, if you get a c/f hood would you also have to get a new scoop, or does it come with it? thanks

 

A GC hood will not fit a GD.

 

A replica cf or 'glass hood for your model year may or may not come with an integrated hood scoop. I think I've seen them offered both ways. There may have been one with a reverse scoop, also, for those owners who've installed a front-mount IC but want to vent some underhood air. An integrated scoop will save a little more weight but until you look at the hood you won't know if the bottom of the scoop retains all of the mounting points for the top-mount intercooler hood-to-IC rubber seal.
