Hey I have a '01 2.5RS with a turbo kit on the way. I wanted to get a boost gauge (mechanical) that would match my cluster. The Defi Link Seris is probally has close as they come but I dont want to buy that whole Defi Link Controller for one gauge. Does anyone know if the Link Controller is needed or I can hook it up another way. I know how to install it (cut the line between fuel regulator and the surge tank and run the lines through the 3 way adapter). In the D-seris you would hook up it up normally but the Link seris you have to run it through a sensor and then into the Link Controller. Can you just run the lines without the Link Controller? (again).
