Silicone IC hose instal confusion...

Hello All...
I am bought a Mishimoto IC hose kit for my 02 WRX, but am confused about the Y Pipe. How does the Y pipe attach to the IC? I see pics of the Y Pipe attached to aluminum elbows bolted onto the IC. In all the ads for hose kits, and all the instal forum threads I've read, there was no mention about needing some sort of elbow or adaptor to do this. If anyone can clarify, that would be appreciated. Here is a link to the kit I bought.

the y pipe needs to be placed the correct way, it is a pain to get it on the turbo

Ok folks...nevermind. I figured it out. I thought my Y Pipe was one piece.
