if i install an hid kit on my 04 wrx what will happen to the daytime running lights? i'm hearing something about unplugging the harness for the hid's to work.. help please cause i need some hid's early....

 

I am not sure how the DRL would work with HID kit, but I personally just unplugged the harness and my HID kit works fine

 

it would work but the DRL will run the hid really dim so better yet just undo the harness up against the glove box if you need the loc there should be post search it on scoobymod

For mine the drl is on highbeam

 

if you install your HIDs, your daytime light will still be there and your HIDS will work fine. i had them on for like 2 days and i just disconnected the daytime light cuz it bugged me. just make sure you connect the positive and the negative to one of the headlights. you do not need to do both. and plug the big plug in last or else...
