how do you install a timing belt w/ the other components?

I realize that this is an old thread, but somebody who has written here might know.
Is there a way to tell if the timing belt has been changed without a lot of disassembly?
I just purchased an '06 and have paper work that claims the timing belt and the accessory belt were changed. The accessory belt is obviously new, so I suspect this is as claimed. Of course the pulleys were not likely changed.
