Heat Shield

I am going to be removing my stock heat shield in order to adjust my Wastegate a turn or two. Im curious once I take it off, do I really need to put it back on?

Are you trying to adjust your stock turbo's wastegate to try to remove the fluttering sound that occurs after you go catless?

Yea it'd be good to put it back on especially during summer days. The heat from the turbo will heat up your top mounted intercooler which will cause it to get heat soaked.
