I have been searching and can't find anything. Im in need of a bigger turbo for my car i will be tuning sometime in july and want something better than my vf39 setup for my 03 wrx. I have all the supporting mods for a bigger turbo. Looking to get around 350-400hp range. If anyone has one for sale please lmk

If you want to make 350-400 on a stock ej205 you are going to need a 35r sized turbo. 60+cfm

Sounds familiar doesnt it kristoy lol im globe box check out nasioc they have plethora of turbos and on ebay theres a vf 2243 for sale around 420350 bucks they have the potential up to 400hp but like kristoy said if its a wrx u might wanna beef up internals as well but u can get a fp green or red all day long on nasioc around 600-800...my. 02 worth

How much power u making with your current setup?

I wouldn't even put 350 whp thru a new EJ205, much less a 10 year old one.

 

It's a very well kept motor. Only 60k miles on it. All maintenance is current on it. Running cobbs stage 3 vf39 ots map. Sti pink injectors, vf39, Perrin fmic, hks cat less dp, 3 inch exhaust, uel headers, just replaced the clutch 2k miles ago, Brian crower cams, Walbro 255 lph fuel pump. I don't think 350 would be bad. But I guess I club "classifieds" is a place to come get flamed for what u wanna do for ur car and not to buy parts people are selling

i agree with brfatal and the rest....good luck hitting 350-400 unless you plan to fully build that motor.

 

And do something with the transmission. I'm making just over what your goals are. My 3rd gear is a ticking time bomb.

 

A lot of us have been where you are man, I'm on my second motor, are you prepared to do the same? Anything bigger than stock raises the risk, anything bigger than a 16g on a 205, in my opinion, is an accident waiting to happen.

However, if you insist, 60+cfm will get you there. Just be ready for full spool at 4.5k and a 2k rpm power band.
