Need a radiator for my 03 Impreza ts (2.5 non-turbo), not sure if a wrx one would work but I'm hoping so? Lmk! Thanks!

 

do you have the fill reservoir on the radiator?

turbo and non-turbo I believe is the same for the GD chassis as long as you determine if the stock radiator has a filler neck on the radiator or not. I have one that is pretty much new (less than 20 miles on it) with the filler neck

 

how much you looking to get for it and what exactly does this filler neck look like? r u talking about the part w/ the radiator cap on it?

i know i have one on the radiator for sure since i opened it up lol, but i didnt even know there was one on the engine too :P

 

I think the 02-03's had a radiator without a radiator cap on it. The 04's have one. This is the filler neck he's referring to. It's only real purpose was to make it easier to refill the radiator / bleed the system. You should be a-o-k with either variation.

the 02/03s came in two flavors. The early to mid production 02's came with a non filler neck version. The mid to late 02/03s came with the filler neck version found on the 04+ models. The difference is that if you don't have one that has a filler neck on it the pipe that goes from the radiator to the over flow tank won't line up correctly and you can't bolt it down to your fan shroud. Your hood prop won't sit correctly in the engine bay. You can however fabricate something or the overflow connection but this is a hassle.

LMK if you want this new radiator. I used it to go from the repair shop to my house so it has about 12 miles on it and is in a box.
