Wtb: iacv for an 02 wrx

Basically I need an idle air control valve for an 02 wrx. I'm looking for something local and inexpensive. I'm hoping someone has a working valve sitting around in a parts pile. Post or PM how much you want for it.

Thanks in advance,

Have you tried cleaning your current one?

I'll be cleaning mine. Just ordered the gasket for 6 bucks shipped from rock auto. There is a nabisco post which goes into pretty good detail about cleaning. 6 bucks is way better than the $240 for a new valve.

Definitely try cleaning it before you replace. I cleaned mine twice and got a few more years out of it before it finally went. Also do the coolant bypass mod, that will keep you from having to replace the gasket every time you pull it off, after the first time. And I have a spare gasket if you need it.

Thanks all, ya I cleaned it and did the coolant mod. I went ahead and just ordered a new iac to be done with this. Thanks again!
