I'm upgrading to an 18g but I need to be able to tune for it. The utec seems like it's gonna be a real pain in the a$$, and I don't know a lot about open source. Maybe a cobb ap is the way to go? Let me know what you've got or if you have any suggestions. I have an '04 wrx with a perrin up, invidia dp, HKS carbon Ti cb, and a K&N filter. Still need to pick up injectors and a fuel pump as well. Not looking for huge power, just more while staying reliable. Thanks in advance for your time!
either purchase a tactrix cable or borrow one from someone here then checkout Phat Botti Tuning on nasioc Mike and Ron are good guys they charge 150 for a tune you tell them your mods and send them logs and they send you maps.. if not check out Reido on here he tunes cars and he will teach you to do it yourself
UTEC > AP any day of the week. Tune with UTEC if you have it, it's really not a pain in the ***. If you are doing the tuning, UTEC is no harder than Opensource is. If you're going to get a pro-tune, then you're already covered.
