Car Info: 2003 wrx with hta68 1994 Honda accord h22a

you don't actually need it because its not on the jdm subarus. it was put in the usdm to deflect the motor down under the car versus going into the firewall.

Haha, I'd rather have the engine go under the car than into the Firewall. The safety regulations are a lot different here in the states and it's for the right reasons. Especially knowing what this car will be used for, I would want to make sure the car is protected properly. Lot's of cars in Japan don't come with front bumper reinforcements, but I've seen first hand how air bag deployment is altered when a reinforcement bar is not there to abosrb damage. No bueno
