I went through a lot of experimenting on the Forester XT...

I have a Stainless, resonated midpipe (looks like its off a Tanabe or similar) and a axleback with a nice, smallish can.

The axleback has been retrofitted to go from midpipe to the can...from the back, everything looks fine...sounds good...not too loud or soft due to the resonator.

If you are looking for a nice midpipe and a nice sounding exhaust...it's cheap...

Use it for a spare, or as a "in-between exhausts" like I did while I was searching around for one for the FXT...

Fits RS and 02-07 WRX/STI's, and 04-08 Forester XT's.

$75 picked up / meet up at Windward Mall...Kaneohe...

bump...for a cheap, good sounding exhaust...

 

I would love the exsahust. I have a 2000 subaru forester. Would it fit all flanges? I would just do a 2' to 2.5' cuppler from the headers. N/a. What you think

Good to know...sounds like the mid-pipe is a universal one...perfect for lots of aftermarket axlebacks to fit it...
