How's that working for you? If I weren't just a mere Soldier, earning a modest income, I would not hesitate to buy a new forester.

Unfortunately, it's not the case, so it's either a condo and a used forester, or continue another year of renting, but at least I can afford a new forester.

 

Chris, theres some quirks about it, but I really enjoy driving it everyday. Either way you go, you wont be disappointed with a fxt.

 

i might be swayed to let you test drive mine if you want. mines far from stock but at least you can get a feel for how it feels and see if it's something you really wanna drive. mine is a 5spd but should give you a decent idea of what driving one is like. the 04 is a great year and i've not been disappointed with mine. my parents just bought an 09 base model and if you're looking for a bit more room they are def worth a look. no xt though ;(

 

we have xt's in 09 just no 5speed's(not even an option ) and not much of them anyways

I really appreciate your offer. I'm pretty set on buying one because I am going to install the parts that are coming off my current car.

As much as I want to buy a new 09 model, it looks like I'm going to be purchasing a condo in Waikiki that is a little over my initial budget. So an 04 that is KBB value or less is what I can afford.
