Selling my stock steering rack. It is out of a 2004 STi. About 89k miles on it, was leaking a bit when I took it out. I will also include inner tie-rods (you forester/outback guys will need these)

I would recommend replacing the seals/rebuilding it if you have it out, you can find them online for about $50.

With that being said, core charge on it from Q-rack is $250. I'd like to get some of this back.

I know its a great upgrade for Foresters/Outbacks, I don't think its any quicker than the WRX's and/or GC's. Maybe someone can chime in.

Help me buy new wheels.

STI steering ratio is 13:1 I think.. WRX is like 15:1 or something. STI is better that's for sure.

 

From what I understand, only the Spec C came with a 13:1 Rack, was never available in the US or in LHD for that matter. I know that the STi is better than some WRX's and definitely an improvement over a Fozz.

My rack could not be 13:1, my Q-Rack is only 12.5:1 and there was a huge improvement.
