Yeah this is my 4th exhaust...good thing is that I really haven't taken losses because I get them used and sell them around the same price that I got them.

 

It might be too quiet for you though...

I'm riding around with the silencer in my APS right now...I haven't lasted more than 1/2 day without taking it back off...the difference between your Greddy and mine is that you aren't losing any power like I am...man, I can really feel the restriction that the silencer creates... 4" tapers to 1 1/2 "...yeow!

Hey, by the way, I hooked up my HKS to be 100% recirc...seems to work ok...just can't hear anything now...bummer.

Yeah to me it will most likely be about the same volume as my current set up just different.

Also, I would set the HKS to 100% Recirc ever because that kind of defeats the purpose of getting it rather than just using the stocker unless your going high boost. Plus, I'm way too lazy.

I did the recirc thing to see if I could make the car sound different...instead, it's now almost too quiet...can't hardly hear the pshhhhh at all...thought it might make that JDM Poh poh pohpoh...kind of sound....nope...dang nabit...

So did you get it hooked up yet?

 

Well...to a certain extent...ha ha.

Long story short but I had to do it at Rudy's house because my normal place wasn't available. I ended up not having the right tools and couldn't fully tighten down the DP to CB flange. I'm going to Home Depot tomorrow to buy new bolts and nuts anyways for that so I won't have to deal with a (get this) 17mm bolt head! Gonna get stainless steel too. It looks nice but I won't know the sound until tomorrow at around noon.

I'll be doing the DP later on when I get a better chance.

I have an extra exhaust hanger for ya...just gotta find it now that I cleaned up...
