This phone was only used for less than 8 months. It was never dropped and was handled with car. The screen does NOT have any scratches on it but there ARE minor scratches from being in my pocket. If you have a data plan from Cingular/AT&T you CAN tether the phone to your Windows OR Macintosh computer and use the internet from your phone if you don't have access to the internet and need to get on.
Asking for $350 obo purchased for $500 with 2 year contract
Thanks,
Jon
- Has latest firmware from AT&T on it.

Hey Jon! howzit bro? How did you like this phone? I remember when you first got it and I wanted it so bad, even w/out Lube. You checking out the iPhone? Do you need any special SIM Cards to use this?
How's the battery life? How's the connection speed when you go online? How's the ease of use of the keypad? I may be interested since the one and only AT&T here never has any sh*t in stock. Lemme know, bro!

call me man...
iphone is good and I like it. from what I understand you do not need a special sim card since we do not have 3g network here. I had to use the proprietary sim card for the iphone so I still have the sim card that came with the 8525. The battery life is not as good as I would like it to be and I found myself leaving it plugged in a lot since the additional applications use a lot of battery power. the connection speed is ok and a little faster than dialup speeds if you tether your mac to the phone for internet connectivity. The keyboard is full qwerty and is very easy to use. touch screen is pretty good and you have to get used to not being able to feel the buttons when you want to make a call.
You will have to pay for a data plan if you want to be able to use the internet. Since I didn't have internet at work and couldn't use a wireless connection from the office I had to pay for an unlimited data plan. I did do a speed test while tethered to the phone for internet and got pretty decent results. I have posted 1 speed test that I received from www.speedtest.net but didn't save the best one that yeilded about 200+kbps on the downstream and about 150+kpbs on the upstream.
let me know if you still have any questions.
