where are you pcsing? my car was shipped from cali for just over 1k. may be worth the money to ship it yourself. your travel voucher will almost cover it with your dependent rate per diem during your pcs.

+1. spot on from my cali to Hawaii trip. wife and I decided, if my next pcs is stateside, we will ship my car through military and pay to ship van to cali... roadtrip to from cali to next duty station, make a vacation out of it.
