I ordered a Kartboy shifter and it came with the bushings, so I have the Cobb hardened bushings brand new and not used,..Same as Kartboy,..just blue in color,...

How do the Cobb compare to the Kartboy? Im mean looks and feel. I have the Sti SS and am not happy w/ the bushings that came w/ it.

 

Actually I dont know if there are any differences as I never had either installed yet,..

Both parts are new and in box and Im waiting till car arrives,..

The only difference I see is that the Cobb bushings are blue in color, but that's about it,..they feel the same and all so pretty sure there wont be any "dramatic" difference at all between the two,..

compared to stock "rubber" bushings, will make a difference since its harder and wont flex or deteriorate over the years,..

I just installed the Kartboy shifter bushing yesterday along with some other parts and 1st oil change at 500miles,... Still breaking motor in,..lol

Anyways, the Kartboy bushings made a big difference in shifter feel and got rid of the "notchiness" of the shifts,..Shifting into gears are more direct and solid,..And this is after a week installing the Kartboy shortshifter and driving around with it,..So definitely and improvement,..

I have the Cobb eurothane bushing for sale,..According to Kartboy, this bushing should fit 1997-2005 Subies except for STI (different durometer?),...
