Hmmm, and what's the HP potential difference?

How long did it take for you to drop the tranny? And would you have to drop it out again to lower the motor to squeeze in the turbos? Or could you just disconnect the driveshafts and lower it all?

HP potential for the K16's is unknown right now as they're quite new to the Audi scene. the K16's on porsches are making 550+ AWHP. with the plain k04 kit and MBC i shoudl be able to squeeze 330whp out of stock fueling.

When a friend did the clutch it took about 12hours if lying on his back trying to figure out how to do it. I just stopped by in the evening to help out. I think we could just disconnect the shafts and drop the subframe. that should allow enough room to do the job. I beleive a tech at Audi of Hawaii has done 3 installs the same way. Anyway once we got the engine lowered a few inches there seemed like there was enough room to get the turbos and piping out.

Well, the hybrids sound nice, ... and both for $900 doesn't seem too bad (except that you already paid a bunch for them ) I think if you can save the money fairly quickly, it would definitely worth it. I mean, ... what more would you need in the turbo department?? I think those would do just fine for a While!
Of course, ... that leaves fueling/ecu/tuning upgrades for the future, ... but hey, it gives you reason to stay motivated!
