WTF happened??
Ok well i was driving on the H3 yesterday and i was going around 60mph and all of a sudden my car turns off... ????.... My engine and everything turned off... oh except for my radio etc... You know when you only turn the key twice to only make your radio and windows work. It was like that. Well Im not sure what i did because i was talking on the phone but i realized my car turned off when the power steering didnt work and all my lights in the gauge cluster went on.... Well as soon as i realized all this i looked at my shifter and it was in fifth... so i turned my key and my car started again and everything seemed to work fine after that.... Im pretty sure i didnt do anything wrong at least i hope i didnt.... But im thinking that my hks Bov or Blitz sus intake might have something to do with this because i just intalled those parts like a week ago..... I dunno, im just taking a wild guess...
Does anyone know what happened or could of happened???? Or had this happened to anyone before???

Do you have a volt meter? I had the same problem awhile back, and Ed over at schuman said that it was my altenator. They changed it thru warranty and everyting has been fine. HTH

You were on the H3 you say?
did you have raw food? pork perhaps?
Not sure how much you take to believing in the Hawaiian spirits, but i hear that people had their cars turn off for no reason at all on that road. I think the H3 was built over some burial grounds, thats why there was so much controversy about it.

The G35's that were running the first gen. Injen intake system, had a similar issue. After running the car to about 80MPH and stepping on the clutch, the engine would shut off. It was something to do with the intake being too open and that the MAF was not adjusting to the change in air pressures,...or something like that. I dont know if it is the same issue, but the G35's had that issue until Injen released a different version of the CAI.
Goodluck though and becareful that you dont shut down at an inopportune moment.
