WTF happened to my post count?!?!?!?!?!? I am not a postwhore....I have VERY RARELY ever Postwhored even though I want an avatar helllllla bad.....I was ALMOST THERE (with legitimate posts) and now I look and I have a post count of 8?????? WTF?! Who is the Jack@$$ that has been F*cking with my isht?????? I want an explanation....

I'm not sure what prompted it, but I guess they decided that regional forum posts no longer count towards your total post count. I think it sucks personally.

as long as we can continue to good community stuff in here that can be OT or not if we want, I guess I'm happy. I hate those cold forums where all you can talk about in the region forum is meets or gas prices.

werd. I pwd a little bit but most of my posts are in the sac meets thread (with over 1,000 replies btw). I'm not very technical, so I can't really contribute to the tech forums without offering up wrong information, which would in turn lower the quality of the site. The rules should be more strict on post whoring and those whored posts should be pruned instead of screwing the many for actions of the few (and I would expect my count to be dropped a tad due to this)

 

Who cares? A post count means nothing. It doesn't mean you are smart and technical. It means you are a post *****.

so anyone that has over, say 100 posts is a postwhore? thats a little hard to believe.....so someone that posts alot, helping ppl with their CEL's, or Exhaust questions, or questions reguarding tickets, meets, a good place to get a scratch fixed etc. is a postwhore?

I thought a postwhore was someone that posts a:
" " or a "." or a one liner that has nothing to do with the current topic, as the content of their post was a postwhore.

so I guess that means that EVERYONE on this site is a blatant postwhore reguardless of what or where you post.....so that brings me back to my original point.....EVERYONE should be treated equally (ELIMIATE Avatars, postcounts "since they are not important", AND member titles alltogether). IOW, we ALL get them or NOONE gets them......its a simple solution......

I dont think so. But some evidently feel that way. Esp those lurkers WHO NEVER POST IN BAIC who all of a sudden decided to whine, *****, moan and cry about every inside joke, random post, funny thread, etc. All because they have some belonging issues that they need to address. Or better yet they have no concept of what BAIC is (hint its an owners club not a technical information swapping center).
