I don't see why not. I'd say why on a NA motor but the BRZs have a reverse setup.

Yes that's true it's also reverse on the BRZ's.
So if I did that on my EJ22 it will align correctly right?
What type of gasket would I need?
Thinking about doing this so I can shorten my intake hehe!

Without seeing it I wouldn't know for sure. For mine I used oem gaskets .
