Nah,

Just think about it. The inexpensive platform is there. I know that I don't have an STi, but let's just say I added a 2.5l (stroker just joking) w/ v7 heads. What's left?

I've spent quite a bit of dough, but how much of what I spent was on stuff that would equivocate my car into a hybrid STI?

An '04 USDM STI wagon. I think it would be cool.

I just reread that. Trust me, it would make sense in my head.

What I'm saying is that tranny, turbo, injectors, pump, intercooler, brakes...oh yeah, and shifter trim (which I still need to pickup from Andrew) = ~$6500.

I don't have the block nor the avcs (heads), and the STI differentials are probably different. I know my front and rear are open. I've never researced what the US STI's were.

If you wait a month or 2, I know you could find an '04 TS wagon from probably anywhere between $12k-$16k. What do you think?
