Whoa!!!! 1/4 Million in Debt????

Yep. As soon as we close on our house in Colorado Springs. On the drive back to MN I realized that I could have bought a Ferrari for that much... maybe 2 of them.

Pray that everything works out for us.

Greg,

Just a thought. Your WRX is perfect because it breaks you out of that 'LT mold'. DON'T BUY A BIG TRUCK OR SUV. It seems like that is what they teach in OBC.

If you show up to the 4th ID with your little r*&# rocket, your dudes are gonna love you.

I'm not going to, trust me. I think my wife might end up with a Forester XT, though.... pics to follow... of the house.

The Stairway to heaven... OK, that's corny, but this is what you see when you walk in the front door.

This is a shot from the stairs into the front room. It's nice and big.... Now we have to buy FURNITURE. Lots of it, too. No more WRX parts for awhile for me.

Congrats on the house Greg. Unlike cars, which depreciate, a house usually increases in value. Well your wife is an accountant so I'm sure you've heard that a few times already.

A wife, baby and now a house. Greg, you are getting domesticated. Careful, a neuter is next.

Yes, it has a fireplace... as did every house we looked at. I'm so glad. Too bad they are all gas-log instead of real wood. Oh well. It's the thought that counts, right?

My own little taste of the island life... an island kitchen. HA! I kill me! Seriously, though. This was one of Jenn's "dream house" items.

I test drove the XT out in Georgia and loved it. So smooth. Jenn has been complaining about how small the Neon is and how we need more space in at least ONE of our cars. She either wants a small SUV (She likes the forester) or a Volvo Wagon. I told her that if we get the Volvo we get the "R" series... Mmmm Forester XT, or Vulv--Volvo V70R. Decisions decisions.

Gonna be a few months before we get the new car, though.

Stupid me didn't take those of this house. When we went back the 3rd time, for the final decision my digicam batteries had crapped out. Think subdivision... sorta reminds me of a hilly Kapolei.

The previous owner did some MAJOR landscaping in the back yard and it looks sweet, but I'm an idiot and don't have pictures. We close on the 23rd, and I'll have pictures after that.

Get the Volvo!

It looks nice and I really like the adjustable suspension. I'd test drive one, if they'd let me.

Cost is the discriminating factor.

Forester XT Fully equipped = dealer says I can get one for $24,800

Volvo V70R = $36k+

We'll see in 6 months.
