Who is right?
To all,
Tonight around 9PM, Thursday 04/29/04, after dinner I was driving from Pearl city to town, around Ranch 99 Market on Freeway. One red Bmw Z3 passed and cut in front of me really fast, like 70+mph... no big deal.. but gf was scared..
I was driving between 50-60mph. Then 2 mins later, freaking blue flashing light behind me!!! really close to my bumper... dam wt@#@%@$@%@....
Police car was following me, and passed me on the left with scrolling letter lights on top of his car showing message "Speed Limit 50" and at the same time other cars passing the cop !!! man this is screwed... well, he left.. driving faster and taking like like exit...
End of story, No TICKET !!! but is it DISCRIMINATION to SUBARU STi owners?

how long was the cop flashing his lights when he was behind u?? when did u notice the cop???
maybe the cop was just driving down the road doing that to all the cars and u just happened to be the last car before he got off at the exit.....
but if he was just targeting u, then that is subbie discrimination. and that is mother f*#*'in messed up.

i work in waikiki and i feel you on the subie discrimination. Last year in June, I just purchased my STI. a cop pulls me over and tells me i need a recon sticker for my spoiler & exhaust. I told the cop that this was a brand new car, and it comes that way, he didnt believe me until i showed him the brochure of the STI. he just jumped in his car and left.
like for no reason, he pulled me over and when he knew he was wrong, he just left. but oh well, thats waikiki cops for ya.

anyway next time, will take license plate number and write off a letter...
Also first time ever to see scrolling message on top of car...
