where to get mountain bike tuned

my mountain bike is acting shady, needs lubing, and needs to be cleaned...... anyone here know of a bike shop that does good work and has fair prices? never really messed with a mountain bike before and remember I don't know if running it in warm soapy water like I used to when I was a kid is safe..... lmao.

There a shop in the wapio area called bikefactory. I believe they do maintainence on mtb's? I used to go to the bike shop in aiea before but started doing DIY maintainence on mines. Do you DH MTB(Downhill MTB)? The only guys on I know on here that does DH MTB is Ted/Kolohe04STi,Chad/spinplay01, and myself.

Bike factory is good stuff, but call for an appointment. Look online bike tuning is easy. I used to work in a bike shop back in 97-98. If I can learn anyone can

I had my DH MTB tuned at McCully Bikes on King (is it the one on king?) just before University. The price was good (~25ish) and they got it running much better than before. I'm down to DH sometime too, the only spot I've been is Royal Kunia (bit of a novice) but had a good time, rode with Krang that time

small kine novice

Bought the bike about 3yrs ago and started riding trails... I dont consider it downhill.... living in cali, their idea of downhill was parking a car at the bottom while another car drove to top aj the whole ride was literally downhill to one of the other trucks who drove them back up to repeat again. Its more for recreation and fitness, not to do tricks or jumps. Lately its being used more for road biking cause I can only find time to ride at night so I hear stuff 8 dont normally hear while riding on a trail... the bike prolly still has dirt on it from tahoe, reno, nor cal, and Calaveras county! Kinda stopped riding when I got rid of the silverado ss... just dont wanna put racks on the subie... lol. I think I just want a bikeshope to get her all spifty again where I can start fresh with the maintenance. . Lol
