That throws in another question...how do you know if it was done if you have a used car?

Anyways as to not hijack...I'd go to the dealership unless it's super *** expensive...because it'll be recorded in Subaru's records so you have proof.

price range from subaru is (450-800).is 450 a good price for a 30k?

break fluid $20
tranny fluid $30 for the good stuff
motor oil and filter $35
air filter, $50 new drop in
diff fluid $10
spark plugs $50 (optional)
coolant $20 w/ redline water wetter

anything else i forgot? my friend helped me with the brake fluid and sparkplugs, but everything else was pretty easy.

i think the dealership does it for 3 or 4 bills

the maintenance section has some good info on what to use,

and you can use the extra $200 that was meant for the dealership on carparts, i bought some break lines, a used bov and uppipe....

hehe

oh yah, the tranny bolt is huge, i think you might need a ketchup despenser from your autoparts store, for the diff

30k mile service

Would anybody who has changed their spark plugs and brake fluid and trans fluid mind showing me how to do it?

I am already at close to 40k miles and did not even think about servicing except the oil changes which I do ever 3k miles.

My number at work is 834-7504.
