whats the difference in

Wide band and narrow band in a/f gauges. What are pros and cons with each one? Im still trying to learn all this and don't want to waste money....ty

Narrow band is like your oem o2 sensor, wide band offers a wider range of data usefull to tuners while dialing in your car.

narrow is 0 - 1v, wide is 0-5v. so much more accurate in seeing what your real a/f ratio is at any given rpm/boost/speed.
mostly used to do fuel/ignition tuning. if you don't have a way to tune, thenit's just a cool gadget. otherwise, its an excellent tool, along with an egt gauge. not sure what a good a/f ratio is on the subie, but my miata likes 11.6:1. kinda rich, but safe.
