What have I gotten myself into?
Subaru geared the car for low revving highway driving. It's poorly geared for a launch, poorly geared for acceleration... It's just plain poorly set up in that department. It launches HARD because it has a REALLY strong OE clutch. First gear is way too tall, then you shift to second, which drops you out of the boost range.

Well, I'd share some of the sentiment about the stock gearing. I had an RA 5 speed gearset put into my car (taller first, shorter everything else, more evenly spaced ratios), and lord did it make a world of difference.

A friend of mine was a mod/admin at a couple of the Bimmer forums out there. There was always so much dissension and squabbling/bickering/peeing contests, etc. that he finally gave up and just lurks now. 
He has a DOPE 330 with Advan Kreuzers on it, etc. etc...

That is the kind of person that makes my blood boil......the ones who are wrong but cant/wont/never will admit it....continue to dig deeper towards the center of the earth.....ughhh I cant stand it!

Oh and Wes....I still don't think he knows what the Caps Lock key if for....I think its what he uses to get into the 10's
