What to do, what to do?
So I have a budget that tops out at $1700... but I'm aiming for $1400-ish.
I know I can get wheels and tires and lugs shipped from subydude for $1335. Rota SDR's. Probably Gold.
I can get some Volk TE-37's from a guy on Nabisco for $1700 shipped. White ones. Dan, I have you to thank for my obsession with white wheels.
I am also thinking KYB's, Tein S-tech's, Castor/Camber plates up front, and an ALK.
Or Tein SS's.
Of course I could always go for the VF-34 package from gruppe-s.
I'm really torn. I want to keep the stealth wagon effect, but wheels and tires make me randy. I like the adjustability of the SS's, but I want an ALK. I am really trying to stay below $1400 for peace at home.
And of course I want more power.
What do you think?

I would have went with 17's and great tires first, if I had it to do over again. Of course the tires would have been spent by the time I was able to start developing some power.
Anyhow, brakes after that.

^Yep. Leave power till last, IMHO. Rims and tires, or suspension is your choice. I went rims and tires first, and now I'm shopping for suspension. If you want to keep it a sleeper, go suspension, and keep the stocker rims. You can fit 225's on the stock rims without issue later.
That's all well and and rational, but I understand the want bordering on need for rims and tires (bronze SDR's from subydude BTW)--why do you think I have that, and not suspension?

Most of you voted vor VF-34 package, but most of you talk about suspension. You are all secretly power ******
Still undecided what to do, but what other suspension packages can you recommend. I know that JIC is out. What about progressive, whiteline (a little too pricey) Cusco (which ones?) Any others? Places to get them is another questino. I like Cusco, but I can't seem to find them for a good price. Recommendations? (I am busy. I got home at 10, I'm leaving at 4:45. Help a TIRED brother out, eh?)
