Well went to the track tonight........

....I didn't expect to run that well tonight with the mix of parts I'm running and the bad humidity.....but I didn't think I was going to run this bad.

13.690 @ 97.67MPH w/ a 1.868 60ft.

Completely bone stock I ran a 13.5 @ like 96.something MPH and my best time is 13.095 @ 103.43 MPH w/ a 1.854 60ft........with just a PDE down-pipe and RSR GT cat-back exhaust.

I'm currently running the Cobb stage 2 91 Oct map w/ just a PDE down-pipe and stock cat-back.

For some reason I was only making .8 Bar of boost tonight....Before the reflash I would peak at 1.1 Bar of boost. This Sucks because the car is so much smoother on throttle and makes boost almost instantly with the reflash.

Hopefully when I get the full Cobb turbo-back things will speed up a bit and I'll make a little more boost yO!

on their website they have another download - Stage 2 HWG 91 oct Stage 2 mapping with higher Wastegate Duty Cycle mapping for those unable to hit the boost targets.

What sort of ECU re-learning time frame do you experience with this reflash?

Dan, you're running richer than you were then by Far. Plus you should've never sold the RS-R exhaust.
but really, ... I would bet you are running much more rich, and Plus it's a 91 oct map!! Run the 93 map!

I was thinking that may be it...I'm just not sure. I'm going the load up the HWG map and take the car for a spin morning.

I'm not sure. I don't understand why the ECU has to "learn" when you just "Flashed" it with knowledge.

there should be no other real 'learning' period I would assume.

Dan, try running the 93 octane map. and why not try using a mbc again?

the ECU has to learn just a little... the reflash just give it the proper parameters to follow to run your car. I did notice a difference between the 91 octane vs the 93 octane map at the track... Daily I use the 91 and at the track I switch maps to the 93 so that means you have to have 93+ in the tank

oh yeah... keep in mind that you only have 100 flashes until the ECU is no good... meaning you can only change the BASE MAP 99 more times after you "marry" your AccessPort to your ECU before you have to buy a new one.
