Weird whining while decelerating from 65mph.
I've noticed for a while that my FXT whines a bit while decelerating from 65mph. It stops when I slowed down to 45mph. At first, I thought it may be something w/my tranny, but it still whines when I'm in neutral. It doesn't whine upon accelerating. Anybody know what's going on? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hmmm...might be our low gearing...since it goes away under 45 mph. I'm not sure how different the 4EAT is from the 5MT, but I can feel engine/gearing braking at higher speeds also. But no decel whining that I can hear...yet. Try PM'ing or calling Ed (sub-sonic)...or take it in for dealer to check?
