Question Wastegate Porting, on the Island?

Does anyone know of a reputable location to port our wastegates on Oahu? I have been contemplating taking on the task myself since I have the tools but was curious if there was someone local who could do the job, instead of shipping my turbo out to Deadbolt and having to drive my wifes Civic.

FYI the reason is I have been delaying the installation of an Invidia DP which would complete my TBE.

Boost creep is when the exhaust gases continue to spin the turbine (continues building boost) even though the wastegate is open. I have no clue how the Accessport cures it, but it does. Besides, I don't think much guys are getting bc here in humid/hot weather. I think a professional port with a bigger wastegate flapper would mechanically cure it with no ebc or mbc.

Do a search topic has been talked about SSOOO many times and it is not always needed..If you get the right DP.. The PDE works fine no boost creep..Please use the search feature first you will more than likely find your answer..

yea sorry, I searched the Hawaii forum in particular, and have read about Boost Creep until my eyes crossed ever since I bought my STi in Oct. 03.

I wasnt looking for it to totally cure the problem, I am waiting to install my DP until My Cobb Access Port arrives, I heard this helped prevent boost creep....but I was thinking porting would be sort of "double baggin it" if you know what I mean. Maybe I will just try it with the Access port see if it even occurs.

Thanks for the info everyone
