I have a 2005 Legacy GT and got a cel twice now,..Figured with the "common exhaust mods" i put on (just in case Subie worker is looking on), it caused the CEL even though I have resistor and non-fouler plugs,..I cleared first CEL and its been fine for about 1000 miles or so,,..No problems,..

Since last month or so, I got an AP few weeks ago flashed to stage 2 and this morn I got another CEL 2 1/2 weeks after flash, AP read no codes but I cleared it anyways,..Next time I will check CEL with white plugs (like green plugs for AP) behind fuse box(OEM's way to check CEL codes via odo digital numbers) to see what code Im getting,..

Anyways,.reading the I-Club search results, is Ed in Waipahu still the person to see for warranty work if "visibly" I have just a TBE on my car? Or should I spend another XXX hours taking off everything before getting any dealer work done? Or take a chance and quote the Magnuson law??

Just doing my research before I really "need" to go,..Hopefully not,..knock on wood,,..

I dont have a problem with the AP, as I know that the AP wont pull all the CEL codes,..Im just trying to find out which local dealer I should go to just in case I need warranty work to be done with the exhaust mods I have on now,.Dont know if Ed at Waipahu is still working there according to old thread searches,..

Hopefully local dealer service dont give me any trouble,..if so, my gf knows the owners but not sure if they will give me any "preferential" treatment,..$$ is $$ to them,...

I have only 6k miles right now, and it may have some factory "bugs or defects" that may need to be fixed under warranty,...Also, what are my chances of getting a loaner too??

No suggestions?? Can anyone suggest either Waipahu or Waialae even though its Father-Son owned??
Any hookups still with Ed at Waipahu side if I got mods or should I take em all off which would be such a hassel,...
