....not THAT nino.

I have done business with the guy and haven't had any issues but my opinion is that the consumer is always in the disadvantage and it looks like something is amiss.
If what he says is true, I feel for the guy although my favorite saying is "when you point a finger, you've got 3 pointed back at you". However, sad story or not, there is now an increased potential for improper business practices and I'd rather not risk it; with him or with ImportImageRacing.com. But of course that's my prerogative.

Car Info: 2004 Subaru STI/WRX Silver of course
I think somebody has to much time on their hands I bought a bunch of stuff from Nino for the RS I had and I never had any problems. He probably went out of business because of how cheap he was selling parts he had the best prices on Whiteline stuff I could find in my eyes he's a stand up guy..

True, true, true.
Jeremiah, my only reservation is in the fact that everytime I as a consumer decide to buy something, there's always risk. Anytime anything questionable about the company pops up, whether true or not, it does make me hesitate somewhat or at least research the vendor a little more.
Bottom line, nino's auto accessories is out of business. Nino himself may still have some stake in that other company. There's a reason he went out of business. If undercutting your competitors prices makes you very popular with your consumers, that's great but does it pay the bills? If your prices are that low, I'd argue that that is probably not a very wise (or at least too quick to assume risk) way of conducting your operation.

i'm on both sides of the fence with this guy. i'm not going to make judgements, but why is everyone bashing the thread starter. he has never attacked him for his business practices i think?? only for the fact that he was hiding some info as to who he was, and when he went back into business.

I know. It don't make sense. Jon [in CT] completely missed out on learning some tact and couth along the way, but in my book that thread is the result of looking out for his fellow Suby consumer.
I wonder if Pat Olsen knows Jon.
