Wanted to say thanks

I just wanted to thank everybody for being so friendly last night. You guys are totally awesome. I was a little worried beforehand about being a guy who's "not from 'round here". I'm glad to see the subie love is here too. Also, I was talking about recon with some guys (sorry, I already forgot most of your names), and I've decided to just go get the inspection and see what fails. If the cleared lights fail, I'm going to do that '02-'03 side marker idea. Unless sombody is willing to swap headlights with me for a day (I have an '05 STi). And I don't know about the doors... I did a search in the forum, but nothing addresses that. Oh well, we'll see what happens. Peace

What do you have lambo doors or something? I don't think recon covers that. They don't even open your door to inspect you.

AH ok that was quick. They said no the recon office does not look at your doors. They may talk to you about it but there is nothing in the official rules regarding doors.

Yeah, I have scissor doors. That's cool that it doesn't matter. I'll just try to go get a regular safety inspection then. Thanks.

Well, they're not supposed to dangle. It gets so hot here that the double-sided tape that held them won't stay up. I'm probably going to screw them into the center pillar like I did for my gauge control box.

Over here, any blue lights in/on your car is an instant ticket if a cop sees you.
