Wow. I'm midway through and the kid is talking into his recorder during an ambush while he's with an Army convoy. Holy **** this is making my goosebumps pop up.
He's actually laughing and calm during this whole thing. You can hear the gunfire very near to their vehicle.
Goddamn, this is exactly how I remember combat to be.
Man, all I can think of is the daily terror the military personnel are living in over there. Also, the innocent old men and women, children and babies.
I wish it would all end.
