Welp, one of my rims met a pothole last week and ended up cracking one of the spokes. Looking for a new set of rims this weekend, but no one seems to have anything that will fit in stock. I'm thinking of turning the broken rim (and maybe the other 3) into furniture or something. I was thinking of getting some legs welded on, and some sort of plexi top to use as a table in my workshop. Or maybe, get them turned into barstools or something. Anyone have any other ideas?

 

2 for bar stools, 1 for a clock and the broken one, mount on the outside of the house, for use as a water hose organizer.

Are you going to get compensated by the city? If you remember where that pothole was and take a picture of it, you can make a claim and get some kind of compensation for the damage.

Thanks for the input guys. Got my new rims today, so I'm probably going to convert the broken one into the hose organizer like suggested above once I get the tire removed. Still trying to figure out how to turn the others into stools though. The rims are the linea limixes so, the deep lip would make seating rather uncomfortable without some sort of top. The problem I'm having is coming up with a top that my fat butt wouldn't break and that I could still see that they were once rims.
