uppipe mod

Did the uppipe mod from http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/showthread.php?threadid=8837&perpage=20&highlight= egt%20resistor&pagenumber=1
and the cel is still on i still get a code 545. Has anyone ever did this mod and if so please help followed everything to the t.

Did you clear the code (either by using an OBD2 scantool or killing power from the battery to the ECU?)

The code won't go away for a # of successful cycles if not.

A lot of us have done the mod, and I for one haven't had any CEL issues since performing the resistor installation.

Can you explain what you used and exactly how you installed the resistor so we can figure out if everything is in order?

i read more into depth and the 04 ecu is slightly different from the 02 and 03. It takes away the code 420 and gives me a code 139. So theres nothing i can do cause no one knows how to take the cel off the 04's.
