upippe install (help this thing sucks a$$)

Unhappy upippe install (help this thing sucks a$$)

ok i started my uppipe intall and i followed the vinshu intructions right. so i got all the way untill i got to removing my uppipe then i was stuck. i couldnt get my the uppipe studs out of the turbo holes then i tried to removed all the brackets around the uppipe but there was this one bolt that was imposible to get at the one i that was stuck to the trans i probly turned it like a 1/8th of a turn. so i tried to take out the passenger side exaust maifold and then another bolt it was imposible to crack i had no leverage. i need help or adivce my car is siting on jack stands right now and the every thing how the hell am i suposed to take the uppipe out from the bottom of the car? i jacked the engine up too and that didnt do anything if anyone is not busy tomarrow want a help me and my friend out with finishing the install?? i know its tuesday but im desperate well any advice is welcome

dude i would remove the the up pipe from the top, just take out the down pipe and turbo, its way more easyer dude stop killing yourself. i wish i could be there to help you tomorrow but i have to work.

How do you remove an up-pipe from the top?

Dude, just relax and read the vinshu instructions again. Take your time, it's not a race. I've done/helped with 4 up-pipe installs and minus he BS time it takes around 5-6 hours if you know what your doing. This is your 1st one.
"We" say to use the vinshu instructions because you'll have less chance of a leak if you do it the shiv way. Trust us it's hard but not impossible.

Do like your removing a turbo, but leave the uppipe connected to it and only unbolt the lower uppipe flange. Thats a really easy way to do it but it's so unecessary.

sorry for the incoherent post but i was kinda pissed off but after i we went to caprisiosa which is some damn good italian food and that settled me down. thanks for the advice and weather permiting i will be done with the install today hopefully

well im almost done damn 3 days just for an uppipe im such a noob well sorry push i didnt see your message until now i could have used the help my friend bailed on me so i was by my self and it sucked. well all i need to do know is to put the innercooler back on and im set and that should take me a good hour or two j/k well my inner cooler hoses are suposed to come tomarow hopefully so i thnk ill wait for them before i start. thanks for the advice and ralph sorry i didnt come on earlier i could have really used the help.
