Two STi'ers in Flatliner Club

I like to eat at Miki's in Pearl City because of the cheap food which they serve in large portions. On two occasions at Miki's, an unidentified member uttered, "It sounds broken." The comment was made while I drove by to find parking.
I ignored the comments on both occasions. I can't guarantee that I'll behave if there is another incident. I regularly keep to myself and never belittle anyone or anyone's car. I especially don't act as if I am the ''ish" when I'm with a group.
This post is not intended to start an arguement. I actually admired a few of their cars. Just please inform your friends that I would appreciate if they keep negative comments within their group and not hate on complete strangers that didn't initiate a reason to be hated on.
Thanks,
Chris

When a boxer motor has a good exhaust it sounds good! It sounds way better than a civic anyday. I have never heard a civic sound good, come to think of it.
I've heard subaru's that almost sound like mustangs with that deep tone. You would never think it's a four banger.

When I first heard the boxer sound I thought it was a bit strange (I had a Honda previously). After listening to it, I really like the sound, very distinctive.
Like Bao Ling said, with a good exhaust system, it sounds even better. I can recall before getting my WRX, hearing WRX 151's car, and thinking.. "Wow, that car sounds 'mean'." The NUR Spec, that exhaust is just down right crazy sounding and loud.
I am just waiting for my exhaust to come in, so I can have a nice sound.

Word! Boxer rumble = GREAT. It's the anti-rice exhaust.

Thanks guys,
But please don't search for this car club and intentionaly cause trouble. Not all of them made negative remarks. Also, some of them are friends of our own i-club members. I trust that the matter will be dealt with accordingly in a peaceful manner.
ScoobyWgn,
Thank you for understanding.

Of course man, we're all civilized beings. I think that the story just makes us mad when we're reading it and on the computer. Disrespecting someone or their car is just wrong!
I like car clubs myself and enjoy seeing people's rides. I don't like people who get cocky or act stupid when they're with a group. Most of these same people would never behave like they do when they're by themselves.
It only takes a few bad apples to give the whole group a bad reputation.
And I'm not passing judgement on this club, as I have had no personal dealing with them.

Do you know a guy named Brandon that has a silver STi? His wife's name is Nina and she just bought a blue STi about a week ago. They are in the Flatliner Club. I met her last night at a waterless car wash demo. Just wondering...she has heard about the I-Club but hasn't found it online yet. I told her the address...not sure if her husband is on here at all. More and more people are trading in their old cars for the newbies...the crowd is growing.
