tune into the news if you can. there is a tsunami watch / warning being issued. we're waiting for confirmation from the tsunami center to see if there were damaging waves generated from that earthquake that happened in Japan

hopefully there isn't one. My gf's dad is a taxi driver and she told me they canceled taxi's. Also, there's a lot of people buying provisions right now.

Yeah heard about it JON, chris, and the rest.. Check the news on my phone and they stated that if a tsunami were to hit, It would hit Alaska at 11:41 pm and us a hour later but seems like it didnt..But on my way home, seen like 3 Civil Defense Cars and the rode and on the shores!!

 

I was at "Tsunami's" last night when I heard about the Tsunami watch. Lucky thing it got cancelled....WHEW! Too bad.......I had to stay at work all night!

 

Some dude pressed the wrong button. But better safe than sorry I say... i.e. Great Tsunami of 04...

 

It's nuts how people on Kauai take natural disaster warnings very seriously. Not too long after I got calls from about 5 people, I see all the gas stations lined crazy with cars trying to fill up and stores parking lots pretty packed. Wow.
