Tranny and Rear Diff Change...

Tranny and Rear Diff Change...
Can someone please help me with this Change....I drive a 02 WRX
Here is some question:
Where is the Tranny Drain Plug?
What Tranny Oil do i use?
Where the hell is the Rear Diff located?
Sorry for the noob questions. I am new to the Suby lifestyle. I just wanna know more knowledge about my suby. Plus I am about to change both of them once i get all the info i need!

gotta do this too.....i searched for what type of transmission fluid......but everyone was indecisive (think thats how u spell it) ill jus wait for everyone elses in put on this

I used Redline Synthetic, but if i had it do over I'd go with some really pricey dino oil. I don't remeber the name, it's on NASIOC if you have the cash. What you need to do is put out a request for the service manual. I'm sure someone has it locally. Lastly, if you don't know where the drain plugs are, you might want someone with experience to do it for you (or guide you through it).

vakamon carries redline fluids and you can get em there iirc. definately like san said get some help if your a noob, it's not hard but needs to be done correctly. also consider getting a pump to get the fulid into the diff. nothing would suck more that cracking the diff and finding out you can get fluid in there. have fun
