Thoughts???

I swapped a 2.5 block into my 02 wrx. still has 2.0 heads.

running vf34 turbo and sti pinks with supporting mods.

Cobb doesnt have a map for this setup.

I know if I load the 2.0 vf34 map it will run lean because of the greater volume of air being moved by the larger bore.

I was thinking of loading the 2.0 vf39 map.

Anybody have any ideas/ thoughts?

I'm planning on doing an open source tune after break in.

you should come by and see the 2.5 in the silver car.

the green and black looks funny with the red cam gears. like a christmass tree engine or something

Contact the tuner you are going to use for the tune, and have them send you a break in map.

actually, I ran my 'hybrid' on the stock ECU map for a while. I'm still surprised it worked.

tomei used the jdm heads, i uded the usdm heads, but ported them to the size of the jdm, (match ported to TGV body also) then matched the 2.5 cylinder wall width to the 2.0 head's combustion chamber. it is a biatch. and takes quite a bit og dremel work.
