On my rs,I have 2 1/4" piping(larger than stock, but not so large as to remove all backpressure and kill the low end torque)......My friend also has a 2.5RS (Same year) and he has 3" piping......he told me that he lost power....I would go for the 2 1/4"........Not the 3".......I had my piping done at Exhaust Systems Hawaii in Kaneohe.....Check this site out http://www.powerlabs.org/car.htm this guy wrote in detail on how he modded his 2.5rs exhaust system.....hope this helps
^^^ I agree, I was (and still am) huge in N/A power and I'd say don't go to big. If you were talking about turbo it's a different story but in your case I'd try and keep some back-pressure. Before I had a turbo on my Prelude I went with a 2 1/2 DC Sports exhaust and it ran pretty well. My brother's got an N/A S2K and he went with the TODA exhaust that I'm pretty sure is 2 1/2. Apparently getting above that in N.A is pushing the limits.
