Sprayed Dei thermal coating on downpipe an crosspipe, wrapped'em, an sprayed'em again after wrapping, so far no issues for the past eight months. Had stock exh. manifolds PPC by crucial racing, after a month coating started flakin off. Sprayed with Dei thermal coating an no issues.

I guess I am mostly have a problem with is that thermal wrap just makes the header pipes thicker and troublesome to work around.

Im sure that wrapping is beneficial, but I ran into problems trying to change my oil (wrapped the pipe with a garbage bag so as not to get it wet with oil), as well as wrap it again when I changed my coolant.
