shaggy you're crazy! that road is basically on the edge of the cliff! and might i add that road is mad narrow.

 

I "found" that same road on Mapquest, hadn't had a chance to go see what it was about. I should have figured it was off limits since I'd never heard anyone raving about it. It sure looks (on the map) like it would be a blast!

what about snake road?? i think that is the road taht yoru referring to as off-limits but its not, it is not on schofield, it does lead from the gates outside of schofield to halieva(sp) though.has 3 turns that are all pretty close, just to let you know, i wont even go down that road on my bike.

 

Like the other Pat, all I can suggest are roads in my 'hood - southeastern Connecticut. Every g-damn day after sitting in traffic for an hour to get to/from work I think to myself, "Man, at home driving for an hour is fun, and I actually get somewhere!" About the only fun I have out here is on a couple favorite on- and off-ramps.

I can't wait to get back to the mainland. 9 months or so and counting!
