If I see that car enter my private road, you'll see a picture of me holding a shotgun.

yeah that's total BS.
My Private road has about 20 houses on it, small lots, so its not a problem, but dirt roads with land and one or two houses for some reason just seems wrong.

I would be smiling and waving to the google van if i lived on a private road.

People living on private roads, yeah this probably is one of their biggest concerns, nothing else to do haha.
Imagine if you have an open car port of 5 classic cars, do you want the whole world knowing that they are there?
My house has 5 dirtbikes kept outside most of the time, and the last thing i need is google to take pictures of them and have some theif come up and take them.

after staying in the middle of San Francisco once a week the past 3 years, having car broken into and no privacy, err land, private roads are nice.
Plus you can ride dirtbikes up and down them all day and not get hassled. Not that Mtn Sheriffs even care in the first place.
My fix it tickets get signed off in 2 minutes without the cop even verifying that i fixed it lol.
You get twice as much house and twice as much land for almost 1/2 the price in the mtns
you have an awesome commute
you have shade and never gets over 90'
shall i go on for all you flatlanders? lol
20 minutes from the beach, 20 minutes to San Jose, 20 minutes from Laguna Seca (if there were no speed limit
)

yeah but they do make a good point about other people driving on the road, such as ups, pg&e or other service people. Granted they are not up there taking pictures. They really shouldn't be concerend unless they have something to hide.
On the other hand I would probably try to sue google too, in hopes of getting a little pay out.
