What did happen man? Glad you are ok. That wouldn't be the first excuse i would choose for upgrading to an sti, but I guess any reason is a good one

dave, since this is publicly posted please say directly from the horses mouth what happened. i hate hearing things through the grape vine since things can be modified and changed. no sugar coating please
sorry this happened to you but i'd really like to avoid this type of situation as other do as well. car fires are pretty rare when not racing...etc.
