Tech Guru Help PLZ!!!
My dads van is throwing a CEL is there any way I can use my APv2 dongle to read it from my laptop? If so what program should I use? thanks in advance
Probably not.
I believe the AP V2's are engine AND year range specific.
All you need is a cheap OBDII diagnostic checker. You may want to ask around someone will probably let you borrow one. I would but I'm on the other side of the island.

go buy a cheapo obd2 scanner from like kragens or autozone(not sure what they are called in hawaii) and just pull the code. they have some pretty cheap scanners. also depending on the year but im sure you would know if it is obd1 or obd2
